The Author
Maziar Chahi
A percussionist and music instructor whose journey began at age six and led to teaching by eighteen. Nearly twenty years into a professional career, his ensembles have performed across Germany, France, Austria, Oman and Cyprus.
In 2021 he moved to Canada, where he now teaches percussion full-time in Toronto and leads The Story of Life — a repertoire written for his hang drum, told in chapters drawn from his own life.
